After a really good, sharp knife is a basic need of good food and, above all, enjoy your food. The feeling of sawing away with vegetables and (especially) meat with a dull blade makes the job of preparation as a feeling of routine work. Producing effortlessly beautiful, even slices with a razor sharp edge makes you feel capable and in control, and improve your cooking experience without end.

Sharpening takes a long time, but strangely satisfied, especially with somegood music and the true concentration.
